What are the possible costs of admission?

  • You have to pay for the first semester depending on the field of study.
  • Dormitory 20,000 roubles per year + 6,000 roubles deposit (26 000 RUB at once).
  • Medical commission 3,500 roubles.
  • Medical insurance policy 3 500 rubles \ 12 months.
  • Study visa extension fee 1,600 RUB.

What documents do I need to prepare for admission to BelSU?

  • copy of passport (first page and, if available, current visa);
  • notarized translation of the passport;
  • a copy of the document on education;

How to get a visa invitation?

  • You must be a student at BelSU in order to receive a visa invitation.
  • If you are enrolled in a first year or preparatory department - You can apply for a visa invitation only after the order of your admission has been issued.
  • If you have been expelled, you can apply only after the order for reinstatement has been issued.
PLEASE NOTE:
An invitation is NOT automatically issued when you apply to a university. You need to apply for it yourself.

How to apply?

  • send a copy of the passport spread to konik@bsu.edu.ru;
    IMPORTANT: a copy of the passport must be of good quality, REVEL - TWO FIRST PAGES;
  • indicate in the letter the place of birth, place of residence and place of obtaining a visa;
  • indicate the subject of the letter "Invitation design;
    IMPORTANT: The period from the date of the intended entry to the expiration of the passport must be at least 18 months.
    For example, if the date of your intended entry is 09/01/2022, then the validity of the passport must be at least until 03/01/2024.
  • WHAT IS THE DATE OF INTENDED ENTRY? When you send an application, if your documents are in order, they will be sent to the police in turn. Date of submission of documents to the police + 50 days = date of intended entry.

How long does it take to issue an invitation?

  • Invitations are issued not by the university, but by the police. The university only hands over your documents to the police.
    The deadline for issuing an invitation is 50 days from the date of submission of documents to the police, not from the date of application to the university.
  • There is no way to speed up the issuance of an invitation, no matter what your circumstances. This is the period set by law.
    Please consider this! We recommend that you do not buy tickets in advance, before receiving a visa invitation, as sometimes invitations are delayed and you may find yourself in an unpleasant situation.

How much does it cost to issue an invitation?

Students of the preparatory faculty must pay the state fee for issuing an invitation (800 rubles).
Students of basic general education programs are not required to pay a state fee.

Can my family members move with me?

According to the legislation of the Russian Federation, we can issue an invitation only to your minor children.
To do this, you must send a copy of the child's birth certificate and a copy of the parent's visa.
Issuing an invitation to other family members as accompanying persons is not provided.

Can I get a visa in another country?

If you are a citizen of one country, but live in another place and want to get a visa there, it is possible, but in the future: you have a residence permit in that country. It is impossible to issue an invitation without a residence permit.


When applying, please send:

  • a copy of the passport spread;
  • copy of residence permit with legalization / apostille;
  • NOTARIALLY certified translation of the residence permit / apostille;
  • Also indicate the place of birth, place of residence and place where the visa was issued.
NOTE:
Names, surnames in the passport and residence permit must match. The translation of the residence permit should not contain the words “temporary residence permit”. The police do not accept such documents. There must be exactly a ""residence permit"".

How do I get an invitation?

  • The invitation will be sent to your email address when it is ready.
    If you have not yet received it, it means that the university has not yet received it from the police.
  • With a visa, the applicant can buy a ticket and come to Russia to start studying. Before arriving, the applicant can study online.

Migration registration

  • Foreign citizens and stateless persons who entered the Russian Federation for studying must apply to the Passport and Visa Department of BelSU (address: 85, Pobedy str., 2nd floor, room 2-1(1), phone: +7 (4722) 30-11-69) within seven working days after arrival to notify the territorial migration registration authority of their arrival, thus presenting
  • – An identity document recognized as such by the Russian Federation (national passport);
    – a migration card;
    – Study visa (for those arriving from visa-entry countries into the Russian Federation);
    – a photocopy of the agreement for paid educational services;
    – 1 photo 3x4 (at the first entry);
    – a photocopy of the first page of a national passport, a migration card and an educational visa (for those arriving from countries with visa entry to the Russian Federation);
    – a certificate of studies issued by the Faculty/Institute.
  • Migration registration is carried out only for the period of study.
  • Foreign students with expired national passports must renew or replace them in advance at the Consular departments of the Embassies of their countries and notify the Passport and Visa Department of Belgorod State University about the availability of a new national passport.
  • A foreign national must immediately report the loss of his/her national passport to the bodies of Internal Affairs, which issues the relevant certificate. Foreign students are obliged to notify the Department of passport and visa work in writing about the loss of their national passport immediately after receiving a certificate from the body of internal affairs, and provide a copy of the certificate. The certificate shall be submitted to the Embassy in order to obtain a new passport or a temporary identity document for travel to the home country.
  • In order to extend the term of stay, a foreign student who arrived in the Russian Federation in visa-free order must apply to the Passport and Visa Department of Belgorod State University 10 days before the expiry of the term of registration at the place of stay. To extend the multiple-entry study visa - 40-45 days before the expiry date of the visa.
  • A foreign student is obliged to inform the Passport and Visa Department of BelSU in writing:
    – On trips to other cities on the territory of the Russian Federation;
    – On change of the address of residence;
    – Changes in marital status (marriage);
    – On change of citizenship;
    – Receipt of a temporary residence permit (RTN);
    – Obtaining of residence permit;
    – Receipt of a temporary asylum.
  • Foreign citizens and stateless persons are liable for violating the rules of stay on the territory of the Russian Federation in accordance with the legislation of the Russian Federation.

You MUST notify your institute (curator, tutor) about your arrival. This is necessary because at the university you must be listed on the State Services website. If you have not been included in these lists in advance, there will be problems at the airport upon your arrival.
